"Neither the famous Ollioules gorges in Provence, the Pincarbo defile in Spain, the Alps, nor the most ancient mountains of Tirol and Switzerland possess anything that could be compared with what I have seen in Belogradchik"
Gerome Blanqui, French traveler, 1841

Castle Cottage is nestled on a hill next to a middle century castle wall overlooking the city of Belogradchik and the rocks. The house is built exclusively from natural materials which puts it in harmony with the surrounding nature. Natural sun light pours in through large windows and the patio doors offer easy access to the garden. The cottage is offering country comfort and sophisticated modern interior and amenities which makes it a perfect place for relaxation and recreation.

On the first floor there is everything for your comfort, no matter what season it is. There is an interesting architecture in the house using different levels to set spaces for different needs. All furniture items are wooden and are custom made by traditional style crafters. The small charming kitchen with elegant dining room and a winter garden are connected to a barbecue and a patio outside the house. Next to the dinning room is a guest room and a cozy wood burning fireplace with a comfortable seating area where you can have a glass of wine from the cottage’s own vineyard and wine cellar. There is one more place on this level – a nice sunroom, quite place with magnificent views during the day or city lights at night.

There are one master bedroom and two maisonettes in the cottage. Each room is individually designed, has it’s own bathroom. The maisonettes are ideal for a family with two or three children. There is a possibility to close the connection between the upstairs and downstairs of the maisonette for more privacy and relaxation, so every room can be rented individually. The bedroom style link modern interiors with old fashion traditions and canopied bed – lovely, cozy and romantic. The rooms are complete with cable TV and wireless internet access.

There’s a local heating system in the house but you can also enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. On the top of the cottage there is a terrace with breathtaking panorama of the amazing rocks, the city and the region. The fresh air exuding gentle provancal scents is so relaxing. Perfect place for quite meditation, sunshine, a romantic dinner or just to enjoy the natural beauty.

Castle Cottage includes bistro serving buffet breakfast, snacks during the day and a cozy elegant bar to mingle with other guest over traditional aperitifs rakia, cogniac, domestic wine or champagne around the charming fireplace. The bistro can be also rented for different events such as family celebration, traditional holidays, business meetings or cocktails.

Once you visit the house and the mystic rocks which surround it you will be swept away by the charm and the hospitality of this magical place. If you want to experience something new we believe Castle Cottage has the spirit and you will bring home memories that will last a time.
