Sredna gora has many mineral springs. There are fantastic balneology resorts, more famous of them are Hisar (Hisarya), Banya, Strelcha, Pavel banya (Pavel's Bath), Mineral Baths in Stara Zagora and so on. The multitude of historic places are in the region wealth only and settlements, had connected to the battle on liberation – Koprivshtitsa, Klisura, Panagyurishte, Strelcha. Plovdiv is the largest city, has originated nearly six hills together with Troy and Mikena. It enchants with its narrow streets the architectural complexs in Old Plovdiv, the numerous churches, museums and memorials. Pazardzhik is interesting with Historical and Ethnographical museums. Stara Zagora impressive with its history, all central part of the tawn is announce for architect reserve. Near Haskovo is the village Klokotnica, where is the King Ivan Asen II against Theodor Komnin. In Yambol are the memorials of te culture Eski mosque, the church “St. George” and the town park in the coast of river Tundja. Near the town is the national archeological reserve “Kabile” - antic Thracian town.
